Frontenac, MO – May 19, 2017 – Jason Schoenborn, PT, at ApexNetwork Physical Therapy in Frontenac, MO recently attended a manual therapy course. The course was titled “Essential Peripheral Seminar” and was held on March 3, 2017 at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

During the course, Jason was educated on various manual therapy techniques to improve rehabilitation for his patients at the Frontenac facility. One specific technique reviewed was the mobilization of the hip joint in the prone position. This technique allows for adequate mobilization of the hip joint in various planes of motion, such as frontal and sagittal planes of motion.

Overall, the course covered evaluation, treatment, and re-assessment of the patient for various complaints of pain or symptoms. Jason found the discussion on subjective information from the patient to be particularly helpful. The information will allow him to reach patients on a more personal level, which will improve rapport and thus better compliance and outcomes.

The skills learned in the seminar will allow Jason to improve therapeutic methods both in treatments and during the assessment and evaluation of future patients. Please contact him at 314-442-6249 to schedule an appointment or visit www.apexnetworkpt.com for additional information.
