Thunderbolt Youth Triathlon

Celebrate the ApexNetwork Physical Therapy THUNDERBOLT YOUTH TRIATHLON, the only dedicated kids’ triathlon in Southern Arizona. This is one of the best kids events around with awesome awards, challenge coins, t-shirts, and overall experience. The race starts at the Cove (lap pool), continues out on completely blocked streets, goes through and finishes in Veterans Memorial Park. Register for the Thunderbolt as an INDIVIDUAL OR part of a relay TEAM.
Thunderbolt Youth Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned Swim, Bike, Run event for kids ages 5-17 years old. It will consist of (5-10 year olds) 50 yd swim, 3 mile bike, .5 mile run, (11-17 year olds) 200 yd swim, 6 mile bike, 1 mile run. Awards will be given to top 3 in each age group as well as top male and female overall winners.

The 2018 ApexNetwork Physical Therapy Thunderbolt Youth Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned Swim, Bike, Run event for kids ages 5-17 years old. Started in 2016, this event has grown to include over 100 participants, incredible support, family fun, and perfect October weather. We encourage kids of all abilities to participate regardless of experience, skill or ability. The 5-10 year olds will complete a 50 yd swim (kickboards are allowed), 3 mile bike, and .5 mile run. The 11-17 year olds are up against a 200 yd swim, 6 mile bike, and 1 mile run. Awards will be presented to top 3 age group winners and overall male and female winners in each race as well as teams.
Participants will receive an overall time at the finish. They will also receive a t-shirt, one of a kind challenge coin, a full race bag of goodies and glory for them and their family. Participate as an individual OR part of a relay team (as a swimmer, cyclist or runner).

The goal of the Bolt Multisport races is to provide an opportunity for kids of all abilities to engage in the sport of triathlon, have fun and be a part of something amazing. Bolt Multisport, Inc. is a tax-exempt organization whose mission is to offer multisport events, training and opportunities to promote fundamental life principles, health, and physical skills for youth in Sierra Vista and Southern Arizona.
